Since the Monroe Street Circle is taking a break for Spring, Mia and Amelia decided to combine their projects together to make a little purse for Amelia. Here, LitKnit Facilitator, Jaime works with them to design the piece.
It is so fun to look back and see so much serious knitting happening at the ACC LitKnit Circle. Good job everyone!
Holy buckets! We have not been updating the status of our groups for awhile. I guess we got busy! Watch for April highlights of our American Craft Council and Monroe Street circles over the next few days. Hope Spring decides to come and stay in Minnesota soon!
This week, we put a hat on the needles for Gus. He came to LitKnit already knowing how to knit, so we were able to go right to a hat on circular needles. Good job, Gus!
It was so good to see Samia again!
Gus is our newest participant at the American Craft Council LitKnit Circle. Here he is concentrating on getting a snag out of his yarn. It's great to have you aboard, welcome Gus!
It was great to have Isabel among us again, at the Monroe Street LitKnit circle! She was with us a few summers ago and has begun coming again with her mom, Mia and sister Amelia. So nice to have them all with us.
We started our new book at the American Craft Council circle last week: The Treasure Seekers by Edith Nesbit
This book is one of my favorites. It is so funny: the Bastable children are determined to 'restore the fortunes' of their family by hunting for treasure. Thus ensues many adventures. If you ever want a treat to read, pick up The Treasure Seekers by Edith Nesbit.
Little Gertie kept sticking herself in Elizabeth's knitting, ha!
