Anna and her mom, Ginny, had finished projects to show last week. Anna made a hat for her American Girl Doll, and Ginny made a lovely cowl. Good job, ladies!
It was great to have Isabel among us again, at the Monroe Street LitKnit circle! She was with us a few summers ago and has begun coming again with her mom, Mia and sister Amelia. So nice to have them all with us.
Mia's daughters have been involved with LitKnit for a few years. First her daughter Isabel participated in the Monroe Street Circle and now she and her daughter Amelia are participating. It has been SO great to have them both in circle. :)
Samia has participated in the Monroe Street Circle for a little over 3 years! She has progressed in knitting, as she tells you. Besides the knit stitch, she's learned to purl and rib and made a hat. Samia is the comedian of the circle and loves to make us all laugh. Thank you, Samia, for years of enjoyment teaching you to knit! :)
Here, Roxie tells us why she likes being part of a LitKnit circle. She is telling about a practice we have at LitKnit where we 'check-in' with each other and tell about our week; helping us all get to know each other better.
